STORYTELLING & THE LIVING LANDSCAPE
February 2, 2022 @ 7:00PM — February 16, 2022 @ 8:30PM Mountain Time (US & Canada)
It is so easy to just snap a picture and store it on your phone or iPad. But there is another way to capture a time and place that will cement it into your memory and bring it back to your mind with all the smells, sounds, and visuals that a camera can’t capture. This series of classes will focus on using a sketchbook and various media to capture what you see around you.
MATERIALS:
- A sketchbook (Canson Mix Media 5.5 x 8.5 in. or Canson Watercolor Aquarelle 10 x 7 in.)
- A pencil or pen (Blackwing soft pencil or Pilot black pen)
- Any set of watercolors (from children’s to Windsor Newton, depending on how much you want to spend)
- A waterproof black ink (for example, Pigma Micron 05) or Prismacolor assorted markers
- Masking tape, watercolors, and watercolor brushes
