UKULELE LESSONS WITH MANDY DANZIG
January 25, 2022 @ 10:00AM — February 13, 2022 @ 11:55PM Mountain Time (US & Canada)
Mandy Danzig will conduct a six-session online class in playing the ukulele, starting at the beginning and covering all the basic skills you need for a lifetime of fun with a ukulele.
The class is aimed at beginners, but Mandy will provide intermediate skills alongside the beginner lessons, so intermediate players will also enjoy the class. Students will receive six-hour-long sessions of group instruction via Zoom and up to 60 minutes of individual instruction by appointment. The final group session may be held at Robbers Roost, dependent on group consensus and Covid-19 guidelines at that time.
Students should come prepared with a fully strung, functional ukulele; a tuner (you can use a smartphone or computer for this if you prefer); and a ukulele capo. Attendees should also bring 1–3 songs they are hoping to learn to play. Mandy would find it helpful if these can be emailed to her as soon after registration as they are selected: Mandyodanzig@gmail.com
Mandy will offer a supportive, nurturing, and fun learning environment. Music and handouts for the class will also be provided.
Class times will be in the evening or on weekends and will be agreed upon once all attendees have registered. A minimum of six students will be needed for the class to be held; a maximum of twelve participants will ensure that every student receives the individual attention he or she needs.
The fee for the class is $175. This includes the six group sessions and up to 60 minutes of private instruction.COVID RESTRICTIONS UPDATE
