HERITAGE STARFEST: Solar Viewing, Star Gazing, and More!


– 14TH ANNUAL HERITAGE STARFEST –
September 15th & 16th, 2023

Capitol Reef National Park (CRNP) and the Entrada Institute are partnering to present the 2023 Heritage Starfest. To attend the Saturday events, register at www.entradainstitute.org. Click on "Attend an Event," and fill out the brief form. The 10:30 a.m. book reading and 7:00 p.m. presentation on Saturday will also be livestreamed.   • 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm: Solar Viewing - CRNP Visitor Center
  • 7:30 pm: Don Montoya, Native American Astronomy - Campground Amphitheater
  • 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm: CRNP Volunteers, Telescope and Constellation Tours - Campground Amphitheater

COVID restrictions for Entrada events have been lifted, pursuant to new Utah Department of Health guidelines.

Reservations is required for all events.
Masks are recommended for high-risk individuals or those who are not fully vaccinated.
