WORKSHOP TITLE: “Color and Music - The Relationship between Keys in Music and Color”

DESCRIPTION: Heidi Daynes Darley is a Utah artist based in Salt Lake City whose paintings, portraits, and murals may be viewed in private and public collections throughout the United States and Europe. Darley has worked as a professional artist for over 30 years and graduated with a BFA summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth in 1991. Darley has received various awards for her work: Arts for the Parks – Top 100, American Portrait Society Merit Award – 2003, 2005, Utah Spring Salon Judges Award – 2002, 2005, and had multiple awards as well as a Best In Show at Entrada’s Annual Arts & Park. Darley accepts commissions for portraits, landscapes, and murals. Her presentation will focus on “How the color wheel relates to music and how we can use that in our paintings.”
