12th ANNUAL ARTS AND THE PARK

Make plans to join artists as they paint the stunning landscapes in and around Wayne County and Capitol Reef National Park. Come watch the presentation on Thursday evening with guest artist Lester Lee, and join in the Friday night Gallery Stroll at The Torrey Gallery, Gallery 24, and the Old House at Center & Main.

Get your tickets for the main event featuring music by Bronwen Beecher. This year's event will be held at Etta Place Cidery. The theme is "The special colors the artists see and use, the layers of the landscape, the flavors of our orchards and autumn". Specialty cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a quick-draw and painting competition will be held during the event. Come meet your favorite artist, create a memory and take a painting home with you!

Arts and the Park is presented by the Entrada Institute in partnership with the Utah Watercolor Society, Capitol Reef National Park, and Capitol Reef Natural History Association.

SCHEDULE of EVENTS

Thursday, October 9th, 7:00 p.m.—Presentation: Lester Lee, guest artist, will be doing a presentation at Robbers Roost.

Friday, October 10th, 5:00 - 7:00 pm—Gallery Stroll: Local Galleries in Torrey, including Torrey Gallery, Gallery 24, and Old House at Center & Main, will be open. This year, Gallery 24 will be hosting the work of Lester Lee, our guest artist.

Saturday, October 11th, 4:30 - 7:30 pm—Reception: “Show & Auction at Etta Place Cidery, located at 700 West Main Street (driver's licenses must be presented to enter the establishment). This year’s featured musician is Bronwen Beecher. Event catering with a special twist will be provided by Etta Place Cidery.
